The BEEP Fund Ltd is a registered charity and alongside the dedicated Doctors who are on-call 24/7 to help save lives, we also rely on the generosity of our supporters. It costs approximately £30,000 per year to run the BEEP Fund and we have raised over £350,000 in the 25 years since starting in 1994.
There are many ways to donate to us and we thank you for any past and future donations.
You can donate online via our secure Virgin Money Giving website page. Find it here
Why not share on your social media channels that you have donated, this might encourage your friends to find out more about us and support us also?
Our 100 Club puts the ‘fun’ in fundraising. We have tickets numbered 1 – 100 and 100 people can subscribe to our weekly draw to be in with a chance of winning cash prizes. The draw takes place every Friday and the winner receives £30. On the last Friday of the month, the winner receives £100. For £1 per week (you can pay annually, 6 monthly or quarterly), you have 12 chances of scooping £100 and 40 chances of winning £30 each year. Much better odds than the lottery!
A number of our supporters have set up standing orders as a way of regularly donating each month. This can also be done via our Virgin Money Giving page.
Legacy Giving is something greatly appreciated by all charities. When writing your will and ensuring your wishes to bequeath your estate to those you choose are noted, many people decide to add a gift to a charity (or charities). If you would like to do this please ensure your solicitor has our details: Beep Fund Ltd, Registered Charity Number: 1113396.
Our volunteers love opening our mail to find cheques sent in by supporters. Here is our address if you would like to do that: BEEP Fund Ltd, c/o Birbeck Medical Group, Health Centre, Bridge Lane, Penrith, CA11 8HW.
Donate or sell unwanted gifts or items you no longer need. You could sell the items online and donate the proceeds.
Did you know you can donate the rewards that your credit cards accrue? Check the terms and conditions of your cards to find out how.
Finally, donations don’t all have to be monetary. Donate your time to us, we always need volunteers to assist us, especially at events where we take our BEEP Fund stand and help spread the word about the work we do.
With 500,000 people living in Cumbria – any of whom we might be called upon to help in an emergency – if each one gave £5 each, just think of what an amazing difference the BEEP Fund could make with more doctors on call, more emergency response vehicles and additional life-saving equipment. Any donation is very much appreciated so we thank you for any amount you can donate and ask you to help spread the word about BEEP Fund to your families, friends and colleagues.
